Workday at White Rock Lake Prairie

weather permitting
Boy Scout Hill, southwest corner of Mockingbird and Buckner

Join us for our first workday on the NPAT project area at White Rock Lake. As part of the Dallas Beautification Initiative, we will remove Queen Anne’s lace and Johnson grass from a plot of native grasslands on Boy Scout Hill.

Please bring hand tools. Weed probes are perfect; hand trowels and pointed spades work well. Also bring work gloves, drinking water, and sun gear like hats and glasses.

We will meet up at the small parking area and picnic structure at Boy Scout Hill. Easiest access is to take the turnoff for East Lawther off eastbound Mockingbird. From westbound, exit for East Lawther, take a left and then your first left at the stop sign.
