THANK YOU to those who joined and supported NPAT on a breezy Saturday evening at Lawther – Deer Park Prairie for Twilight on the Prairie! it was a delight to see those of you in person and celebrate our members, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, while raising important funds for our Prairie Education Program.

The party included tasty appetizers and beverages, music from Southern Style Bluegrass, a stroll on the prairie boardwalk, a paddle raise, and a sunset toast!

Education Director Della Barbato shared how you are saving Texas prairie by educating our youth and the public about the beauty and benefits of native prairies. We also honored Dr. Rhonda Burrough of Katy High School and her students for their pioneering pocket prairie.
