Texas Prairies Thank You!

The Texas prairies are beginning to rest now for the winter. Saving them is not easy, given the rapid urban development in Texas. But we at the Native Prairies Association of Texas are optimistic and inspired, thanks to you.

This year has been a historic one for NPAT. We have surpassed 5,000 acres protected and doubled our staff. Through our education program and chapters, we have enlightened thousands of students, teachers, landowners, and other adults.

You generously contributed over $45,000 at our Party for the Prairie and over $8,000 through North Texas Giving Day. Memberships and donations have increased. Ongoing grants continue to support us, while new corporate partners are joining us. Volunteers offer invaluable skills and guidance on our boards, committees, and restoration projects while spreading the word about the beauty and benefits of native prairies.

All of this is possible because of YOU. Together we are creating a healthier and more sustainable future for people and our native grasslands. Thank you so much for being a part of our prairie enthusiast family!

With Gratitude,
