Save the Date: May 7, 2022–Volunteer Opportunity–Native Plants and Prairie Day at White Rock Lake Bath House Cultural Center

This White Rock Lake event will be “revived!”

Following in the footsteps of veteran North Texas Master Naturalist leadership, the Blackland Chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas, in partnership with the North Texas Master Naturalists, hopes to raise awareness of the organizations that promote prairie conservation: Native Prairies Association of Texas, North Texas Master Naturalists, and Native Plant Society of Texas, and others.

To be successful, we ask that our fellow NTMNs are willing to commit to 3-hour shifts (between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.) to assist with communications/PR, set-up and tear-down, parking, exhibitor coordination, volunteer coordination, walk/talk leader coordination, children’s activities/NTMN outreach trunks, D&I/community outreach, announcements/emcee, hospitality, photography, technology assistant, and MORE!

A volunteer sign-up page will be emailed to all members by March or April 2022. We especially hope that new members will be involved in this fun and rewarding event.
