Prairie Seekers Training October 30th

Join the Native Prairies Association of Texas and the Dixon Water Foundation for a Prairie Seekers workshop with field training on Saturday, October 30th. Participants will gain experience evaluating prairies and practice identifying grasses and fall flowering plants with experts at the Dixon Water Foundation’s Leo Ranch north of Decatur.

Registration is $35 per person and participation is limited, so register here to ensure a spot!

All proceeds support the new North Texas Outreach & Stewardship Program. The event flyer can be downloaded below. For more information contact Dr. Carly Aulicky at [email protected]

Prairie Seekers is a citizen science program that trains volunteers on how to assess prairie condition, and helps NPAT identify conservation priorities. October 30th is the first of a five-part series designed to build identification skills and ecological knowledge of prairies.
