Northeast Texas Landowner Workshop

Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Mount Vernon
Join us for a morning tour of Daphne Prairie, one of the loveliest prairies in Northeast Texas. The tour will be followed by lunch and a landowner workshop in Mount Vernon. Workshop topics include prairie conservation, wildlife management plans and the tax valuation, conservation easements, solar development and regenerative grazing.
The group will meet in Mount Vernon Saturday morning, and the tour of Daphne Prairie begins at 9 a.m. We will return to Mount Vernon for lunch, courtesy of Mr. B.F. Hicks. Expert talks will be held at the historic Railroad Depot until 5 p.m. Registration is $25.

Come a bit early and drop by The Loading Dock or Watermelon Mills Coffeehouse for coffee. And later, leave time for a patio Happy Hour after the workshop.
