North Texas Giving Day 2021

We regularly connect with landowners to educate them about the benefits of preserving a remnant prairie they may own, or restoring their lands back to a natural diversity of prairie plants and wildlife. More and more are recognizing the importance of such conservation for the ecosystem benefits and for future generations. We also educate the public about prairies, encouraging the planting of native plants in yards and gardens to support and attract beneficial pollinators and birds.

Your donation at northtexasgivingday.org/npat, now through Sept. 23rd, will support NPAT’s outreach and land stewardship efforts in North Texas. Plus, every dollar up to $3,500 will be matched!
The Fort Worth Chapter has been hosting the Prairie Seekers training for several years.

NPAT’s Fort Worth Chapter works diligently to conserve representative portions of this historic prairie and educate the public of its value. They lead guided walks, host Prairie Seekers training classes, and invite an array of interesting speakers to their monthly meetings. They also partner with the City of Fort Worth, the US Army Corps of Engineers, several non-governmental organizations, and private landowners on mission-related projects.
