Marine Creek Land Scholars have been working on a multi-year project studying native seeds to see which seeds & soil types are most successful for seed bombs.

Texas wild prairies are in danger. The way we see it things will not get any better without further intervention, and that is where we step in. We are the Marine Creek Land Scholars, we are an environmentalist-based group taking action on the issues we face in our ecosystem. Through our seed bomb research, we hope to preserve and restore our Texas Prairies. We are building upon research from Alumni Land Scholars who have tested the perfect mixture for our seed bombs. We tested 3 different sizes to see how this has affected the growth of our seeds. We hypothesized the larger-sized seed bombs will yield more sprouts and more aggregate growth.  We hope you tune in to see the results of this second phase of research! – Marine Creek Land Scholars
