Kirchoff Family Farm Chosen for Lone Star Land Steward Award

One our very own conservation easements, the Kirchoff Family Farm is being awarded the Lone Star Land Steward Award for South Texas! Congratulations to Don Kirchoff and his siblings, Brenda and Scott for all their hard work!! It’s a well-deserved award.

Jamie Killian of Texas Parks and Wildlife and landowner Don Kirchoff were interviewed for the Lone Star Land Steward video in April.

Texas Parks and Wildlife established the annual Lone Star Land Steward Awards to recognize and honor private landowners in Texas for their contributions to natural resource conservation and management. Read more about this year’s winners here.
