Private Guided Tour: “Trespassers – James Prosek and the Texas Prairie”
January 13 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Free, but we appreciate donations to help NPAT achieve our prairie conservation and education mission.
Connecticut artist, writer and naturalist James Prosek’s interest in prairies led him to the Texas Hill Country, LBJ National Grasslands and Clymer Meadow in search of understanding. His visit inspired 20+ new works in various media which are currently on display in a special exhibition at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Read more about the exhibit here: Amon Carter Museum of American Art — James Prosek
The Fort Worth Chapter of the Native Prairies Association of Texas invites you to join us on a docent-guided tour of the exhibit. Registration is required as our group size is limited due to the intimate exhibit space. There’s no charge to attend, but donations to support NPAT’s work in North Texas are gratefully accepted.
