Educator’s Workshop @ Deer Park Prairie

Check out the flyer (attached) for a special workshop designed to empower local educators {formal and non-formal} to teach about local prairies and wildlife led by Natives Prairies Association of Texas.​ Educators include not only teachers, but also nature interpreters, outreaching TMNs, homeschoolers, etc.

Workshop is taught by Jaime Gonzalez, Katy Prairie Conservancy’s Education & Conservation Director and nature interpreter extraordinaire plus Pat Merkord, Executive Director of Native Prairies Association of Texas and retired high school science teacher
