Jason Singhurst is a botanist/plant ecologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. He received a BS and MS in Agricultural Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. The author of many scientific publications, Jason is a well-known authority on tallgrass prairie flora and the ecological regions of Texas. He is recognized for his work on rare plant communities in Texas. Jason works extensively with private landowners, state and federal agencies, and universities to document and preserve the diverse plant communities of Texas.
