On May 4, 2019 I was happy to attend a prairie walk and plant adventure at Burleson Prairie, a 100 plus acre tallgrass prairie restoration plus a remnant in the Blackland Prairie. This site is very special as the restoration has been over 30 years in the making.  Read more »

Tanglewood Prairie

This 31-acre tract lies along U.S. 77 south of Tanglewood in northwestern Lee County, Texas. It is longitudinally bisected by an abandoned railroad bed from which ties and rails have been removed, and is bordered on the east by a small intermittent tributary of Brushy Creek.  Read more »
