Bird and Pollinator Workshop

This all-day workshop brings together four experts to address habitat design for birds and pollinators. Birds and pollinating insects play vital roles in the ecosystem, but their numbers are diminishing and mostly because of habitat loss. What can we do to reverse this trend in our area? In this workshop you will learn: (1) which species are most important in our area, (2) how to design a restoration project to provide the best habitat, and (3) how to modify your land management practices to have a bigger impact. With birds and pollinators, even small areas can be designed as effective habitats.
Registration is limited to 35 participants. Current registration is for NPAT Fayette Prairie Chapter members but will be opened to other groups in late August. If you are a chapter member and wish to attend this workshop, now is the time to register.
