Wildlife Guzzler Installation at the Kirchoff Farm

Wednesday, Jan 08, 2014

Volunteers from a local Boy Scout troop learn about the plumbing and the installation of the wildlife guzzlers.

Volunteers assisted with all aspects of the project including the planning and placement of the guzzlers in the prairie.

Two wildlife guzzlers were installed in an area that has been restored from agricultural land to native grasslands. A third guzzler is also planned to be installed by the Boy Scouts in 2014. The third will not have plumbing and will rely on precipitation to keep it filled with water.
