Today, Bayou Land Conservancy posted on their site:

“WE DID IT!!!!

Thank you to ALL the 1,000 + donors!
Details will come to those first who donated – and they’ll be provided at the prairie TONIGHT!
Meet the soon-to-be previous landowner, and join us at 6 p.m. at the Deer Park Prairie for our press conference.
Then we hope all our donors will join us as we celebrate this most incredible, fastest-ever CONSERVATION WIN at the Monument Inn at 7 PM TONITE!”

The Monument Inn event raised a whopping $21,000 towards saving Deer Park Prairie!
