Loueen Peters sold Peters Prairie to NPAT at a generous price.

Site Description

Peters Prairie is a tallgrass prairie remnant of the Blackland Prairie. Texas’ Blackland Prairie is part of the endangered tallgrass prairies of North America, of which less than 1% remains due to conversion to agriculture and development.
