Blackland NPAT Chapter’s - 2nd Annual Texas Prairies Tour!

FULL DETAILS on each Prairie, our Guides, and the Itinerary follow ‘Events’ in date order......
We have reserved a bus & will DEPART parking lot of Dallas’ Bath House Cultural Center for Central TX.
We’ll visit amazing prairies, some have never been opened to the public!
Prairie #1: Burleson Prairie, E. of Temple; Prairie #2: Granger Lake Prairie, Taylor; Prairie #3: Lehmann Prairie & Prairie #4: Riesel Prairie, both are near Marlin; and Prairie #5: Simpson Prairie, near Crawford.
NPAT will provide everyone with maps and detailed notes on each prairie.
Residents of Central TX, much closer to the prairies than Dallas, may register and meet up /follow the bus tour in private vehicles. Those registered to do so will receive “meet-up” and “timeline” info so you can make your plans, and notify us where you’ll join the tour!
