WELCOME Lisa and Jason Spangler, prairie enthusiasts extraordinaire!

Lisa and Jason will display many of their photos of Texas prairies and discuss prairie grasses (on which they are very knowledgeable) as well as the North American Prairie Conference. It will be obvious that their hearts belong to nature and conservation; both have been involved in Texas conservation and nature organizations for a number of years. They have gone ‘above and beyond’ in their efforts to help protect Texas prairies!
Lisa is a self-proclaimed “crazy prairie enthusiast”. She earned her Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and works as a software engineer. A great percentage of her work focuses on the organization Hero Arts. She shares her love of photography with her husband, Jason.
Jason is Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder at Descendent Studios in Austin. He has served on NPAT’s Board of Directors and with NPSOT’s Austin & Williamson County Chapters.
