From Ed Fair, Commons Ford Prairie Restoration Organization:
I will be co-leading two Travis Audubon Society Field Trips at Commons Ford on the mornings of Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27. The field trips are designed primarily for those who have never visited or seldom visit the park. While birds will be the key focus, this would be an excellent opportunity for those of you who are following the project to get a first-hand view of where it stands. The trip is open to birders of all levels (especially beginners), and Travis Audubon Society membership is not a requirement to participate. Space is limited, but we do have some slots available. If you are interested, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Even if you are a CoFo regular visitor and want to participate, let me know and I will add your name to a waiting list. If the trips do not otherwise fill, you will be able to join us.
