Quebe Prairie Description

Quebe Prairie is a rare prairie remnant of the Blackland Prairie of Texas (in the Fayette Prairie part of the Blackland Prairie). Less that 1% of the tallgrass prairie remains, and very little of Texas' tallgrass prairie heritage is protected. Quebe Prairie is privately owned and unprotected. Photos by Lisa and Jason Spangler

Imagine the nature beauty we once had when the prairie stretched for hundreds of miles.  We can protect what prairie is left, and restore more prairie to recreate that incredible ecosystem.
