David Bezanson is Land Protection and Easement Manager for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Texas, working to acquire preserves and conservation easements statewide. 

Prior to joining TNC, Mr. Bezanson served as executive director of Texas Land Conservancy (formerly Natural Area Preservation Association), a land trust which has conserved 80,000 acres in Texas.

Mr. Bezanson holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin; his master’s thesis described the natural vegetation types of Texas and conservation priorities.
